Frequently Asked Questions

Phone Maundy Relief on 01254 232328 or call in to see us at 29-31 Abbey Street, Accrington and we’ll take some details and pack you a food parcel. Please bring your own bag as we do not provide carrier bags, or we can put your food parcel in a cardboard box

We can give you a food parcel once every 8 weeks. If you’re unsure how long it has been, just get in contact and we’ll be able to tell you how long it is until you can next have one.

Emergency food parcels contain sufficient food for three days, but the actual items will depend on what is available and what has been donated. We’ll also put in a list of other places to get meals and food in Hyndburn.

We will talk to you about your situation and put you on the homeless portal so that Hyndburn Borough Council can assign a support worker to work with you. Maundy can support you with food, clothes, shower, laundry facilities, telephone and internet use, as well as the full range of our health and advice services.
