Maundy Relief – We work on the frontline in the community by responding immediately to need.

Case Study – John
A new guest came to the drop-in during a busy lunch time session. He told us he was 93 years old and recently widowed. He was unable to deal with welfare benefits issues by himself and had tried to get support from various other agencies without success. A friend told him about Maundy and he came over on two buses.
Despite the advice service being extremely busy with no appointments available, the advice lead rearranged her appointments and saw him immediately. The issue was resolved and the gentleman was very relieved and grateful: ‘It’s marvelous what you do to help people.’
